Viva La Vita

We had a full, fun day! No complaints here.

From Lagos we took a tour (approx 4 hours) to Sagres, Cape St Vincent (The end of the world) and stopped at Praia da Mareta. We enjoyed our time with our guide, Rui (pronounced Roy), 2 people from New Zealand and 2 people from Germany. We had a wonderful trip. Everyone spoke English so communication was easy and Rui was very funny and very personable. The cliffs at both locations were stunning to say the least! Every direction we turned left us speechless at the beauty of it all.

At Praia da Mareta we saw surfers and paragliders.

After we returned to Lagos, we stopped in at the XII Festival dos Descobrimentos (festival of discoveries) in Lagos. There were many in costume, folks dancing, and vendors with all kinds of goodies.

We returned to Alvor around 7:30pm for a nice dinner. It was another GOOD day (April 30, 2025).
